Judging Criteria
Scoring Details
The GRI uses a Bands of America based scoring rubric with an emphasis on positive, encouraging feedback designed to assist all bands as they prepare for the rest of their season. Judges are positioned in the stands and the field depending upon the caption. Judges are equipped with audio recorders and provide commentary during the show to the performers. The two music performance captions are averaged together. The two visual performance captions are also averaged together.
